Longhorn Lodge is located in prestigious Feather Top Estates at Big White Ski Resort. Adjacent to Sundance and Millie’s Mile runs with easy access to the Black-forest Quad Express or over to the Quad Bullet Express. Longhorne Lodge is the 6th stand alone chalet on the right hand side on Feather Top Road. Two car heated garage with internal door leading directly into the chalet, one car space in the driveway, ( 3 car maximum) Note extra cars will need to be parked at Happy Valley.
The garage has ski, snowboard racks and nice bench for putting on boots. Enter the chalet on the main floor with heated slate floor. Entrance boot room with bench & a door to the garage. Convenient half bathroom with basin and toilet. Beautiful wooden stair well leads down to the other floor.
Ahhhhhh.......The huge gourmet kitchen features 2 ovens, 2 sinks, granite counters plus an additional wine fridge.
The long length center island offers a great social setting with bar and 4 stools.
Long solid wood dining table with 10 chairs. Adjacent door leads onto the balcony with large BBQ and fantastic majestic views of the famous Monashee Mountains.
Greatroom / Lounge offers luxury comfort with 2 large sofas & 2 leather arm chairs with foot stools.
50" flat screen TV with Blu- ray player, iPod dock and surround sound speakers makes for a great entertainment center. Slate stone gas fire place with wood mantel makes for a cozy setting. Vaulted Ceilings with Huge bay windows gives this Greatroom a luxurious feeling.
Middle Floor down from the central landing are three bedrooms and bathrooms.
Master bedroom has Beautiful king bed, bed, large walk in closet & private ensuite bathroom with steam shower & heated floors. A wall of windows leads to your private deck with views of the Monashee's
2nd bedroom has leather king bed, large built in closet, bench seat in front of window looking out at the mountains and private ensuite bathroom. Bathroom has heated slate floor, bath tub/ shower.
3rd bedroom has 2 sets of single bunks, flat screen TV and DVD player. 3rd Private bathroom has a large shower.
4th bedroom with wood queen bed, bedside tables, drawers, built in closet, double window behind bed frame, overlooking mountain slope.
5th bedroom features single over a double bunk bed, built in closet and a window that overlooks the hot tub. Both bedrooms share a bathroom with heated slate floor, bath tub with shower over head.
Laundry room with separate washer and dryer.
Ground Floor Walk into the large den with sofa bed, large floor cushion, cabinet with 32" flat screen TV and DVD player. Large boot room with heated slate floor, bench, boot warmer, window and back door to ski locker.
Hot tub and ski run are just outside.
The chalet has a house audio system, so you can listen to the radio or your own music in the kitchen, on both balconies, hot tub deck and master bedroom. (don't forget to bring your iPod)

From Kelowna get on highway 33. Proceed 34km south and turn turn left onto the Big White Road. Continue for a further 24km and this will bring you to the bottom of the village. Continue up the Big White Road you will drive under an overhead ski bridge. Take the first turn on the right "Feathertop Estates". Sundance Lodge will be on your left and Copper Kettle to your right, drive past both. Drive up the road under another bridge and you will pass Parker's Den on the left. Continue round the bend, past Dwight Out on the left, then up to the next bend past the mega log chalet and Longhorne Lodge is the last chalet on the right, after Artists View.
